Hurst FDIC Display

Hurst….. Well every major extrication tool manufacturer had a great display of tools set up at FDIC. Hurst had a 2011 Ford Fiesta in a plexi-glass box where factory reps cut it to pieces in front of visitors at their booth. There was also a stack of Boron B-pillars that I would have loved to sneak out the back. There was also an outside demo area by Lucas Oil Stadium where conference attendees could put on some PPE and make some cuts on a car. RAW VIDEO: Firefighters pull car from underneath semi

A good portion of the extrication of the man trapped in the vehicle under the semi trailer was captured by a cameraman from NBC 25. The accident was on Southbound I-75 between Clio and Birch Run around 6 am. The car spun out into a ditch and A semi tractor-trailer rolled over onto a car. The driver of the car was not killed. So, when you drill for these, lift something, anything, like pallets with full visibility. Watch what happens to the opposite side of the lift and make notes.
