The Fire Service Warrior – Monday Morning Shoutout
The Fire Service Warrior offers this unique "mission statement" that has been dubbed the Ethos of a Fire Service Warrior. Ethos? Yeah, I had to look it up although I kinda figured what he meant by it. Ethos: English word based on a Greek word and denotes the guiding beliefs or ideals that characterize a community, a nation or an ideology.

Hallway Sledge (the username of the anonymous author) has a unique writing skill... they write as they talk...with profanity and all when necessary.
Backwards and stupid came up on my radar recently afer a series of great posts. The blog began in October 2010.

This week's Monday Morning Shoutout goes to the PGFD PIO Blog. Mark Brady is the PIO for Prince George's County Fire Department in Maryland. His job, in my eyes, is one of the most difficult FD PIO jobs in the Nation.
Why the most difficult? In my eyes because of the sheer size of the County, number of departments, it being a combination department, as well as many of the news stories and scandals that have occurred there.

Monday Morning Shoutout – TOTWTYTR
What I found most interesting was how some of the other EMS bloggers were amazed at meeting him. Most of us bloggers have spoke on the phone, seen photos of each other, or at least emailed each other. Over time, this turns into a relationship/friendship of sorts. Prior to this weekend, I do not know that I have ever been in contact with TOTWTYTR. I have read his blog but must admit that I don't catch it every day.
